Revenge Sneak Peek: About Our Wedding Night ...

A sneak preview clip from the next installment of Revenge shows that Emily survived, but with a bad case of amnesia ... which certainly comes as a relief to Daniel.

Revenge Season 3 Episode 11 airs Sunday, January 5, picking up where we left off after the wedding with the Grayson family circling Emily's hospital bed.

To her husband's surprise, she doesn't seem to remember who shot her ... or that anyone shot her, or even her own name. Think it's an act? See below:

Even if she's not faking this amnesia right now (and you always have to wonder on Revenge), she's bound to remember what happened at some point.

How soon until her plan comes back to the forefront, and how far will the Graysons go to silence Emily now that Victoria and Daniel are both onto her?

As always, you can watch Revenge online to see full episodes if you missed any so far this season and need to catch up before the return on January 5.

In the meantime, here's the climactic scene Ems can't remember ...

It's 2014 and you know what that means: your local gym will soon be spilling over with those who have resolved to get into shape for the new year.

But we've spoken to a number of television characters and they have different kinds of goals for the next 12 months. Scroll down now to learn what various fictional individuals resolve to do different in the year ahead...

  • Return of Coach
  • Elijah in the Woods

Coach (New Girl): Go away. I understand I was funny for a few moments, but now I'm just interrupting the previously-hilarious loft dynamics.

Olivia Pope (Scandal): Branch out with my wardrobe and maybe try colors other than black, white, and gray!

Rebekah (The Originals): Persuade Matt to join me in New Orleans!

Elijah (The Originals): Kiss Hayley already!

Captain Hook (Once Upon a Time): Don't give up on Emma Swan. The fight will be worth it. Our chemistry is amazing...she just hasn't realized it yet.

Bonnie (The Vampire Diaries): Try smiling for a change. I'm actually alive! Life isn't so bad after all.

Kensi (NCIS: Los Angeles) Uncover the mole, kill the White Ghost and get back to LA!

Daniel Grayson (Revenge): Get away with almost murder. Again.

Rick Castle (Castle): Kiss Kate Beckett. Thoroughly and often. We're engaged now. There are no excuses.

Red (The Blacklist) Protect Lizzie. Discredit Tom. Stay mysterious and creepy.

Joffrey (Game of Thrones): Enjoy my seat and my standing as much as I can. I may lose both before 2014 is over.

Nero Padilla (Sons of Anarchy): Invest in new bullet-proof cardigans. Things are about to get dangerous on Sons of Anarchy Season 7 with my new alliance.

Teresa Lisbon (The Mentalist): Start a new life in Texas, complete with new career at the FBI and a fulfilling personal life. And if Patrick Jane wants to be a part of that personal life, he can chase me.

Craig Thomas and Carter Bays (How I Met Your Mother): Rethink How I Met Your Dad. Really. It may be time to let the franchise go.

Carrie Matheson (Homeland): Stop being a nearly traitorous nutcase who cares more about her fugitive baby daddy that her own country.

Raj (The Big Bang Theory) Find a girlfriend who I can pamper, cook for and who will help me raise my love, Cinnamon.

Hannah Horvath (Girls): Stop being so conservative and consider showing my boobs more.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs (NCIS): To use a few more words during daily communication than required for survival.

Revenge Review: Who Am I?

Revenge certainly made a splash with tonight's return! Badumchhhhhh! (Get it..a splash...Emily fell overboard...okay, moving on.)

Emily's alive and suffering from amnesia, and while I thought I was going to hate every bit of this, as it turns out, I don't. This amnesia story line just turned Revenge on its head, and while there are parts of it I find incredibly contrived, I definitely don't hate it.

Revenge Season 3 Episode 11 started a new chapter for this soapy series.

Jog Her Memory

"Homecoming" picked up shortly after the Revenge winter finale left off. Emily's disappearance has been reported and the Grayson family and wedding guests were being taken to the police station for questioning. Conrad threw around "I was Governor of this state!" to which I added a mental "yeah, for, like, 5 minutes!"

But Governor he was, so he strong-armed the police into sending more helicopters up to look for Emily. The choppers weren't necessary, however, because of Emily's tracking-beacon wedding garter. (So many jokes about runaway brides happening in my head right now.)

Aiden located Emily on a fishing boat and she asked him to take her away from there. She begged him not to send her back to the Graysons.

She KNEW who he was.

I don't understand why Aiden had to find her at all. Aiden and Nolan still could have read her file and thought that she was faking the amnesia story and planned their mission to get her out of the hospital only to find out she wasn't actually making it up. They still could have said "Jack! You're the only one who can save her!" Which is basically what they said.

Which brings me to peeve #2 of the amnesia story.

Emily's amnesia - and Niko, the doctor-slash-assassin from Aiden's past who is still carrying a torch for him - exist solely to push Emily back to Jack, and hey, I'm not exactly complaining since I think they're end game anyway. But did we really need amnesia to do that? No. It's as unoriginal and farcical as Conrad thinking he had Huntington's earlier this season.

Anyway.

Jack finally visited her in the hospital after Emily told Charlotte that her father's name was David Clarke with such conviction that it "freaked" Charlotte out. Jack gave her a talisman of Fauxmanda's and a kiss on the forehead and suddenly Emily remembered that Daniel had been the shooter, a conclusion at which Jack, Nolan, and Aiden had already arrived thanks to Margaux's holding back of the photos timestamped immediately after the shooting.

Victoria, Daniel and Lydia were the only people missing from the pictures. They knew where Victoria was and probably didn't even know Lydia was on the boat, which meant they immediately deduced that Daniel was the shooter.

After tonight, he is my least favorite character on this show. He didn't seem at all bothered by the fact that he shot a human. AGAIN. Maybe the fact that this is his third time trying to kill someone with a gun has just hardened him to it. Maybe he's just a sociopath.

I know! Let's blame it on the ah-ah-ah-ah-alcohol.

And to think that the only reason he wanted to confess was to keep Victoria from going down for him? No, NO Daniel Grayson! Emily may have lied to him and broken his heart, but his mother has still done worse. If he's going to confess it should be because he feels guilty for nearly killing another person, and not because he needs to save Victoria.

Because the truth is that Victoria doesn't need saving.

She always has a plan B. And plan C, D, E, F, and G just in case. And when those fail, she has Patrick, who chose his team tonight.

The Patrick-Nolan entanglement is a sticking point. When Patrick revealed that he knew a little bit of Nolan's history with Emily and Emily's plan for the Graysons, Nolan should've moved the Double Infinity box immediately. Do not pass Go, do not collect $200. MOVE THE BOX, Nolan! Especially given the fact that Patrick was IN HIS HOUSE unannounced and uninvited.

Now he and Victoria are planning a takedown of their own, which is probably the best thing the amnesia plot has given us. None of us want to see Emily taken down, but you kind of have to admit there's something intriguing about the thought that Victoria and Patrick will be dishing out the revenge while Aiden, Nolan, and Jack team up to protect an out of commission Emily from the likes of Victoria.

I mean, she got rid of Lydia with no trouble at all and is once again the reigning Queen B-iatch of the Hamptons. It's pretty awesome to think about where everything and everyone goes from here.

Despite my Daniel-loathing, I found myself feeling almost sorry for him after his spat with Conrad, because what he had to say to his father was pretty true.

You don't think I've sacrificed? All I have ever done is sacrifice for everyone and I have lost the one person who meant anything to me, who never lied to me, who loved me!

Daniel

He has sacrificed everything for those around him. For those he's loved. Time and again, he keeps losing. He's always been a means to an end and that realization had to sting. The Conrad-Daniel argument was, in my opinion, the best scene of the night because it felt the most real. And that's something we don't get enough of from Revenge.

What did you think of Revenge Season 3 Episode 11? Are you excited to see where the show is going for the second half? Will Daniel Grayson ever be a respectable human or is he just doomed to being horrible by virtue of being a Grayson?

How do you feel about the amnesia story?

Let's get this out of the way up front:

Yes, Revenge Season 3 Episode 11 gave Emily amnesia. Yes, this is a played out soap opera trope. Yes, our eyes rolled a bit when we saw it teased via a series of ABC previews.

But damn if the series didn't pull off the storyline well on the 2014 premiere.

"Homecoming" didn't waste much time picking up on events from the winter finale. Emily's disappearance has made the news and all the wedding guests have been taken in for questioning.

Yes, Conrad, even you. Despite you being Governor for a whole five minutes or so.

The installment also did a solid job setting up a dichotomy of Daniel? Is he doomed to be a vile member of the Grayson family forever? Or might be be redeemable.. for real?

You're a Grayson now, Emily.

So Victoria Victoria tells her new daughter-in-law in the following clip from Sunday's Revenge Season 3 Episode 12. What does this mean, exactly?

That the family will now "circle the wagons" and protect their latest member, who finds herself under the care of her mortal enemy following last year's shooting and its subsequent memory loss.

What does Emily recall? Anything at all?

Revenge Review: Game Changer

Revenge fans, consider the game changed after tonight!

In an onstallment reminiscent of the high drama of Revenge season 1, "Endurance" altered the methods of Emily's revenge.

Revenge Season 3 Episode 12 was one epic hour of television.

Jack Slugs Daniel

Let's start with that moment right up there, shall we?

Jack punching Daniel in the face was the highlight of my evening.

AHHH! Go, Jack, go! I actually raised my fist and gave out a little "yessssss!!!" and my husband looked at me like I'd lost my mind. And hey, maybe I have just a little bit.

But Daniel Grayson is such a whiny little jerk that watching him get punched in the face was amazing. That Jack was the one to do it only made it that much better. I would like a gif of that punch so I could watch it over and over again.

We learned quite a few things tonight.

First of all, Sara didn't actually try to kill herself. She just got drunk in the bathtub and nearly drowned. Not that I like the character at all or feel like Daniel needs even a smidge of stolen happiness with her given his current jerkface behavior... but the idea that she would kill herself because the guy she spent three years hating was getting married was more than a little farfetched. I'm glad we got an explanation about that.

Niko is Takeda's daughter. That explains how she met Aiden and how she's so good at the vendetta game and why we're not sure if we can trust her or want to trust her. She plans to avenge her father's death, which means Aiden better watch out since he's the one who killed Takeda.

I think Niko can take him. Hell and fury and women and all.

Finally, Nolan is really good at the Revengenda thing.

Once Emily was moved to Grayson manor, their communication was even more restricted than it was when she was at the hospital. So he devised a plan where Jack would visit and Carl would give Emily a stuffed Golden Retriever puppy as both a throwback to their childhood and a way to sneak in a walkie-talkie so that Nolan could monitor things for Emily.

That allowed Nolan to switch out the contents of the Infinity box before Patrick stole it - after knocking Nolan out with a piece of firewood! - so that Emily's identity would still be in tact. Score for Nolan!

Now the Graysons just think Emily's a grifter there to con her way into their family and she's ready to play along with them until she gets what she came for, which is their demise.

She was ready to walk away from her revengenda, but the news that she can no longer have children (which I suspect isn't actually true and is a ruse Victoria's playing as payback for the fake pregnancy) has spurned Emily to take further action and carry out her plan.

There are going to be some FIRE.WORKS in coming weeks!

There's also going to be a shift where Emily will turn to Jack and eventually the two will end up together. The writing is all over the screen for it.

Going back to that stuffed dog for a second, it was an incredibly symbolic move going all the way back to their childhood when Amanda left her dog with Jack and the dog remembered her when she returned to the Hamptons.

Secondly, Emily's comment about how one day she might have a family of her own while holding Carl and then finding out that she can't have children of her own (supposedly) is practically telegraphing the fact that she'll eventually be raising Carl as her own, likely resuming the name Amanda Clarke (which somehow Jack will be totally okay with because this is television).

Margaux listening to Jack and that choice costing her money and then whatever Conrad decided to do with the magazine behind her back will somehow come back around to Jack and Margaux will end things with him.

And since Emily ended things with Aiden tonight, for no clear reason other than she just did, there's a big set-up for Jack and Emily to get together. Now we just need to place our bets on when it's going to happen.

Because it's going to happen.

It doesn't even matter if it makes sense to us that she was 8 and he was 12 or however old they supposedly were when David Clarke was framed and she left. (Why did they ever mention concrete ages in the first place?!) Jack and Emily will happen. Mark my words.

What did you think of Revenge Season 3 Episode 12? Do you love the new angle Emily's taking with her revengenda? Did Revenge just step up its game tonight?

The amnesia story line might be the best thing to happen to Revenge.

It's opened up new avenues for storytelling and the series is showing all the signs of its Revenge season 1 glory.

Last night's episode featured a punch heard 'round the Hamptons, a break-up, a fake make-up, and Emily and Victoria on the same team. Sort of.

Shocking, right?

This Sunday, ABC will air Revenge Season 3 Episode 13.

Then, the thriller will take a long hiatus, not returning with new installments until March 9.

But you can bet the drama will leave viewers hanging by a cliff until then, as the network synopsis for "Hatred" teases tension between Emily and Daniel being at an "all-time high," while also saying her own "instability could put everything she has worked for at risk."

Cue the suspenseful music and then cute up the following slideshow.

It depicts a scheming Emily... an alliance with Conrad... Daniel holding hands with Sara... and a whole lot more from Sunday's episode.

Olivier Martinez is out for Revenge.

The French actor - whose wife, Halle Berry, will star on CBS' Extant this summer - has been tapped in the recurring role of Margaux LeMarchal’s media magnate father.

Olivier Martinez Image

According to Deadline, Martinez's Pascal is especially cutthroat and will have a "complicated" history with Victoria - and a competitive one with Conrad.

No word yet on exactly when Martinez will debut... but Revenge Season 3 Episode 13 (photos from which are below) marks the show's final installment until March 9.

And this gig will mar Martinez's first extended role on U.S. television.

Karine Vanasse, meanwhile, has been promoted to series regular as Margaux. If ABC renews Revenge for a fourth season, that is.

Ever since Revenge has returned from the holiday break, things have been roaring forward like an out of control freight train and... there’s no sign of stopping in tonight’s episode.

In a nutshell: Emily is implicating Lydia when she knows Daniel is the one who shot her... she's happily staying put in Grayson manor... Patrick clunked Nolan over the head to steal Emily’s Infinity box for Mama Victoria... and Takeda’s daughter, Nico, is in the picture, very much in love with Aiden and seeking the person responsible for killing her father.

What’s takes place on Revenge Season 3 Episode 13?

I spent some time on the set during the shooting of tonight’s installment and grabbed interviews with Executive Producer Aaron Harberts (who penned the episode with Gretchen A. Berg) and stars Barry Sloane (Aiden), Gabriel Mann (Nolan), Justin Hartley (Patrick) and Stephanie Jacobsen (Nico).

Love For Charlotte: Now that some time has passed since Declan died, it’s time for Charlotte to move on. “We have a love interest coming up for her,” Harberts revealed. “A really interesting character that’s also going to get pulled through the Nolan story, a character who is not normally who you might think of in terms of Charlotte’s boyfriends. He’s got sort of a rough back story but so we’re going to start developing that relationship around episode fifteen.”

Fighting in the Open: Emily won’t be able to pull off the sweet/innocent act any more, Harberts explained: “Victoria and all of the Grayson’s feel like they have Emily’s number and so what’s really fun about this episode is they can finally sort of fight out in the open a little bit. We can finally do scenes where these two women who’ve always been so veiled and politely cutting with each other can really be honest with each other.”

And while Victoria doesn’t know the whole story yet, at least she knows her long-thought suspicions about her now-daughter-in-law weren’t off the mark by much.

“Emily has got a lot of work to do to kind of get back into their good graces and frankly the Grayson’s,” Harberts said. “Their attitude is ‘We don’t believe you. No matter what comes out of your mouth, we don’t believe you.’”

As Daniel gets darker...: For good reason, Josh Bowman’s character has many reasons to be a bit pissed off. “He’s much angrier and certainly also feels like he’s sort of on to what Emily’s doing,” Harberts said, “so watching that relationship get to a point where they are now at each other’s throats has been super fun.”

In fact, watch for some Who’s Afraid Of Virginia Wolff type battles between the not-so-happy newlyweds, especially since Emily is sure to use her knowledge that Daniel shot her to her advantage at the right time.

…Jack will get lighter: Mr. Porter has been through the wringer for awhile now, so he is “getting to a point where he’s going to take a big leap with Margaux in this episode,” Harberts teased. “Nick Wechsler’s had a nice little haircut which may seem very superficial but it’s a nice way to show that he’s moving on. We’re lightening up his wardrobe and at the end of this episode he and Margaux make a nice sort of life decision. So we’re still developing that relationship.”

Patrick IS Victoria’s Son: When he first appeared, Patrick seemed horrified at some of the action of the Hamptons’ residents, but it hasn’t taken him long to become very Revenge-y and show that he is definitely his mother’s son.

“You do see him [and] the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. You see him react to certain situations in a way that she would and you know it’s interesting because she didn’t raise him,” Hartley explained. “She knew him as a baby and then he was gone and now she knows him as a man. So it’s not like he got that from being raised by her, it’s just sort of in his blood.”

Watch out for Nico: Takeda’s daughter, obviously still in love with Aiden, has one other thing on her mind: revenge for whomever killed her father. She doesn’t know (yet) that that was, in fact, Aiden.

“The person who should watch their backs most is whoever she decides has killed her father,” Jacobsen told me. “Her focus has become pretty unilateral by this point but it really takes root in this episode, that sort of penchant for vengeance. Prior to this she was a little more distracted by Aiden but now she’s really starting to hone in.”

Harberts added: “This character is really hardcore. She’s got a very strong point of view and a very cut and dry point of view and a very obsessive point of view when it comes to Aiden, adding that Nolan isn’t a fan of Nico:

“I think Nolan would like to toss that baby out with the bath water immediately. I mean, at this point, Nolan’s home has become like a halfway house for psychos and so far he’s concerned.”

Barry Sloane explained how the dynamic between Nico, Aiden and Emily is an intriguing one: "It’s interesting to have another one of that type of energy and what Stephanie’s brought into the show so far is a very different energy than we have on the show which is always important when you come is what I try to do with Aiden when I joined the show. When you come in new, try and find something that’s not already there.”

Actor Lovefest: Gabriel Mann smiled when talking about how much he’s enjoying working with his on-screen lover. “Justin Hartley is such a great guy,” he said. “He’s just been such a pleasure to work with and so the intention, it feels like, is to want to allow this to kind of continue to play out but I think circumstances dictate that there is a fork in the road.” He added, “I mean I think the fun of these relationships and these characters is that there is always an ambiguity and that question mark is there, is it a hurt or a help?”

For Sloane, he misses working with Josh Bowman since their characters haven’t been crossing as much as they did before.

“I worked with him a lot last year and obviously because of the whole shooting him last year. I think we’ve had one scene together this year in episode three at the party when the last words Aiden said to him is ‘What are you going to do? Pull over and shoot me?’ which was one of my favorite lines this year.” Don’t worry, though, the two men may be more involved soon. “I think we’re going to revisit that in the back end.”

Revenge Season 3 airs Sundays at 9/8c on ABC.

Revenge Review: The Thin Line Between Love and Hate

We might be taking an extended break from Revenge because of the Winter Olympics, but tonight gave us more than enough to chew on until Emily Thorne and company come back.

Emily, Daniel, and Sara. Jack and Margaux. Victoria and Patrick. Niko and Aiden and Emily. And the blackouts! Waking up at the Southfork! WHAT?

Revenge Season 3 Episode 13 was full of twists and turns and cliffhangers to keep us eager for the show to return.

Will Emily Take It?

First thing's first, Emily Thorne is a badass

It's not like we didn't know this already, but you guys, that opening scene? She just...cauterized her own wound. With a fireplace poker. Straight out of the fire.

Maybe she's just completely insane. And maybe Niko is equally as insane for going along with it, albeit with some prodding. Yikes!

It's a good thing Daniel doesn't know about the at-home cauterizing or he would realize the lengths to which Emily will go to win once she's set her mind to something. Or maybe it would solidify his belief that she's crazy. Or both.

Daniel's really turning out to be the villain of the season. After years of Victoria and Conrad being the villains, and then the Initiative, Daniel's definitely being made into the antagonist, and he's rising well to the challenge. I actually think I prefer seeing Daniel play this darker character than the person he was in Revenge Season 2.

At first, Daniel was caught in the crossfire of Emily and his parents. He was a means to an end. Season 2 Daniel was a bit of a whiner who got in over his head.

This Daniel? This one deserves every shred of vengeance Emily Thorne exacts upon him. And whatever Conrad can throw at him, too.

Taking the magazine? Yes. Go, Conrad! I almost high-fived Margaux for selling, not because I want to see steam pour out of Jack's ears when he finds out, but because Daniel shouldn't get to drag Margaux down with him. (Okay, and maybe a little because of Angry Jack. A little. Because you know this will cause trouble for Jack and Margaux and their happily ever after fantasy.)

Daniel doesn't realize that he 1) is a cold-blooded attempted murderer who shows no remorse for any of his gunslinging, or 2) that he made Sara a pawn in his game with Emily by bringing her into Grayson Manor and parading her around to "rub Emily's nose" in the fact that their marriage is a sham and it's her fault. Sara didn't even realize it, and she's typically pretty good about recognizing that stuff.

That's okay, though. Sara's mom was there to set her daughter straight. And Emily was completely right that nothing was wrong between she and Daniel until Sara showed up again. I wonder what would happen if she found out that Sara's reentry is actually Charlotte's doing.

Is that the end for Sara and Daniel? No, probably not. But it's the end for now, and I'm not complaining. Sara hasn't been my favorite part of this season, though she has served a purpose, I suppose.

As has Patrick.

While he also hasn't been my favorite part of this season, tonight he was, if for no other reason than because he really humanized Victoria.

It's always been clear that Victoria is calculating and that her cold nature comes from a place of protecting herself. Now we know a little more about why that is. After her mother kicked her out (after Victoria took the fall for murder for her mother) she was raped and that's how she became pregnant with Patrick.

There was something about watching her tell Patrick the truth that actually made me feel bad for her. She doesn't seem like the hugging type, but man, Victoria needed a hug.

Instead Patrick burned down her art gallery, so that's probably not winning him any points with mom.

Speaking of "mom," the sticking point for Emily continues to be that she can't have children now. That's the fuel for this leg of her revengenda and Daniel Grayson has no idea what sort of wound he opened up when he told Emily that sterilizing her was the best thing he could have done for the world.

AHHH!!! I hate him! Rage.

I also sort of hate Aiden.

Emily broke off their engagement, yes. It was abrupt and unexpected. Sure. I'll give him the first time he slept with Niko as a freebie because he was devastated and she was there and he wasn't thinking clearly and one thing let to another. It was Scorn-Sex.

But the repeated boot-knocking Nolan relayed to Emily? Nope. He's not getting a pass on that now that he's all "must protect Emily." Sorry, Aiden. It doesn't matter how crazy Niko is, and she might be certifiable, you don't get to sleep with her around the clock and then try to woo Emily back like nothing happened. Even if you do think she came to you during her blackout spell because she clearly can't get you out of her mind.

Way to make it all about you, dude!

Aiden was the first to discover that something isn't right with her, but neither of them knows that she's losing time. It's not even clear if Emily understands what's happening to her, and she definitely seemed like a different person when she woke up standing in Nolan's house.

And she had to be a different person to sleep with Conrad Grayson, if, in fact, she did. There's no way Emily was in her right mind when she did that. Right?

Did she do that?

What is happening to Emily??

What did you think of Revenge Season 3 Episode 13? What IS happening to Emily? Do you love or hate this Daniel? And the best question of them all, did Emily sleep with Conrad??

It's safe to say things hit rock bottom for Emily and Daniel on Revenge Season 3 Episode 13.

It's also safe to label Emily as a total and complete badass, considering she cauterized her own wound to kick the hour off.

The fireworks between her and Daniel (clearly the villain of Season 3) served as the highlights of a terrific installment, one that saw the latter split from Sara and which also featured Patrick burning down Victoria's art gallery. Talk about playing with fire!

As for Conrad? Well, his ex-wife is back in the picture and he appears to have slept with Emily. Wait... what?!? Huh?!? Really?!?

17 OMG Revenge Moments: Twists, Turns and Jaw-Droppers Galore!

Revenge has delivered some seriously OMG moments over the years. So many over the 57 episodes to date that it's hard to even know where to begin.

This is basically what the show does. A high-end melodrama laden with plot intracacies, Revenge was made to deliver those kind of TV jaw-droppers.

And does it ever. The spellbinding, intense tale of Emily Thorne and the Graysons is one of romance, back-stabbing, complex alliances and epic plot twists.

Throughout her quest to give murdered father the justice he deserves and take out those who wronged him, we've been on the edge of our seats.

For the most part. The second season lost its way, but things are back on track now in Revenge Season 3, which returns with new episodes March 9.

To tide you over until then, here's a look at 17 truly OMG-worthy Revenge moments since the 2011 pilot. Scroll through and share your comments!

17 OMG Revenge Moments
Emily's quest for payback was underway from the start, but still largely in the shadows. When a confrontation with Frank ended with Lydia falling off the roof, Revenge gave viewers the first real game-changer.

Lydia Takes a Dive

1. Lydia Takes a Dive

Emily's quest for payback was underway from the start, but still largely in the shadows. When a confrontation with Frank ended with Lydia falling off the roof, Revenge gave viewers the first real game-changer.

Charlotte is David's Daughter?!

2. Charlotte is David's Daughter?!

The effects of Charlotte’s parternity shocker (or non-shocker) from Season 1 can still be felt today in her view of her parents, Emily's relationship with her, her involvement with Carl and beyond.

Amanda Kills Frank Stevens

3. Amanda Kills Frank Stevens

Amanda's identity-switcher made her debut on the show in epic fashion, cementing her place in Revenge lore. With Frank Stevens closing in on Emily, Amanda took him down - by bashing him in the head repeatedly as he tried to warn Victoria.

The White-Haired Man Captures Nolan

4. The White-Haired Man Captures Nolan

King of Cool he may bem but Nolan Ross was no match for the White-Haired Man, a villain who choked our favorite character by the neck and abducted him until Emily came to the rescue with her unparalleled martial arts skills and good looks. Seriously. She looks amazing even when (especially when?) beating guys up.

Victoria Dies in a Plane Crash ... or Not

5. Victoria Dies in a Plane Crash ... or Not

Few moments in recent TV history compare to Victoria Grayson, dressed all in white, walking in slow motion up the stairs to that fateful plane with the music of Florence + The Machine blasting. The fact that we got the chills despite knowing full well that Madeleine Stowe would never be killed off speaks volumes about that scene.

Amanda is Pregnant!?

6. Amanda is Pregnant!?

Just as Emily prepared to come clean to true love Jack about her real identity and reason for returning to the Hamptons, Amanda returned to town ... pregnant. Very, very pregnant. As if Ems' life wasn't complicated enough ...

The Death of Amanda

7. The Death of Amanda

The death of the real Emily Thorne pushed Jack to the brink, while the reasons behind it spurred her former juvie roommie to extreme lengths.

Emily's Mother is Alive?!

8. Emily's Mother is Alive?!

There was nary a mention of Emily’s mother up until it was revealed that she is alive. The story and character itself were major letdowns, but as cliffhangers go, the reveal was a jaw-dropper.

R.I.P. Dec

9. R.I.P. Dec

Declan Porter was an ancillary character whose death many saw coming and who was quickly forgotten by many viewers, but the impact of this subtly lingers. His loss at the end of Season 2 pushed Jack and Charlotte, in their own ways, further over the edge.

Aiden Takes Out Takeda

10. Aiden Takes Out Takeda

Emily's mentor Takeda was shrouded in mystery, then awkwardly re-cast, then revealed to be more involved in the overarching Season 2 storyline than anyone realized ... only to be dispatched by his own pupil Aiden. That surprising twist has made for one of very few loose ends from the sophomore campaign that has yet to be resolved, with lingering hints that it may come back to haunt Aiden still.

Conrad Revealed as the True "Initiative"

11. Conrad Revealed as the True "Initiative"

As Revenge scrambled to undo the damage of a second season that got way, way too big in scope, the writers cleverly crafted the infamous "Initiative" to be the brainchild of Conrad Grayson himself, thus positioning the family patriarch as the villain we already knew him to be - just with more political power and guile than we realized.

I'm Amanda Clarke!

12. I'm Amanda Clarke!

Right after Conrad's reveal about the Initiative, Emily dropped a nuclear bomb on viewers - and Jack - that was 10 times greater. Telling Jack the truth about her identity to stop him from shooting Conrad, this game-changer carried into Season 3, with Jack basically hating Emily, who questions her own actions, then hastens her plan to take down Victoria and nearly gets killed in the process.

Adios, Ashley

13. Adios, Ashley

In true Revenge fashion, when someone gets in the way, the only way to deal with them is to get rid of them. That was true for both Emily Thorne and the Revenge writers when it came to Ashley Davenport, who overstayed her welcome and was quickly dispatched ... we don't even recall to where, it was that fast!

Patrick Cut the Brakes?!

14. Patrick Cut the Brakes?!

Not long after Father Paul saw the light at the end of the tunnel of Revenge, and had us believing he convinced Conrad to confess, Patrick assisted mommy dearest by tampering with the brakes (which we initially thought was the work of Charlotte) and getting the priest killed. Conrad survived, and Patrick's endgame remains a mystery to this day.

Sara and Daniel's Rendezvous(es)

15. Sara and Daniel's Rendezvous(es)

True love never dies. Sara, the girl Daniel almost killed when he wrapped his car around a pole, returned with a vengeance in Season 3 to woo Danny and then some. In surprisingly complex fashion, she played a key role in throwing off Emily's plan, which she altered in a way that only further altered Daniel's psyche and fueled his rage.

Revenge "Exodus" Clip: Shots Fired

16. Emily Takes Two to the Stomach

The mid-season finale gave us our answer to the “who shot Emily Thorne?” question that the premiere posed, and the result was a shocker in that we never thought Daniel would be the one to pull the trigger - yet given the way the season unraveled, it actually made perfect sense.

Her Next Move

17. Her Next Move

She's been outed as a grifter, though not as the daughter of David Clarke, and for her next act, trapping the Graysons in the most unhappy of unions in exchange for her silence about being shot. We can only imagine how that's going to play out now that the secret is (mostly) out and both sides full-on HATE each other ...
