Revenge Season 4: Best Episode, Worst Twist & More!

$
0
0

Even though it was sad to see our favorite revengers go this year, we've still drummed up the best, the worst, and the weird of Revenge Season 4 for you!

While we loved Daniel and Emily's witty repartee, and Nolan's fantastic spinoff potential, we could have done without Ben what's-his-face, and greedy Grayson money grabs.

We've also got the moment that made you go "awwww" as well as the one that made you go WTF?

Tell us what you think of our list, and more importantly, start brainstorming ideas to get this spinoff on the air... pronto!

1. BEST EPISODE

Best episode
The episode that stood out most this season had to be the one where David tricked Nolan into going on national television and humiliating himself. Not only did we get sister feels from Charlotte and Emily's team up, we got to see David get a little revenge action of his own when he assumed Nolan cheated Amanda out of her inheritance. A mixup of Shakespearean proportions!

2. WORST EPISODE

Worst episode
The series finale of Revenge felt like someone had written an awesome cliffhanger, found out they were cancelled, and then went back and wrote "And they all lived happily ever after, screw this, I'm out of here." Storylines like David's cancer and Emily's relationship with Jack were fast-tracked in a kind of embarrassingly obvious way that just didn't ring true.

3. WORST USE OF A SIDE CHARACTER

Worst use of a side character
Ben showed some serious promise towards the beginning of the season, but eventually his storyline became totally bizarre. From one episode to the next he either adored Emily or hated her, and he was an ally then an enemy. Add in his weird ex-girlfriend episode and his out-of-nowhere death? Yeah, Ben was just all over the place.

4. SURPRISINGLY GOOD STORYLINE

Surprisingly good storyline
Daniel and Emily's relationship was always dicey because of her big secret, but once the air was cleared and everything was out in the open... they were kind of amazing together. Their honest advice and almost-friendship felt like a refreshing change of pace for the characters, and we were sad to see it go when Daniel died.

5. AWWWWW MOMENT

Awwwww moment
Emily giving Jack a puppy at their wedding brought a tear to everyone's eyes. Sammy was the one to bring them together in Season 1, so it was a touching callback to see them adopt a new canine companion in the finale!

6. BIGGEST WTF? MOMENT

Season long wtf
We've already picked the finale out as the worst episode of them all, but this particular finale moment was the worst of the worst. Victoria died and Emily received her heart in a last minute transplant? But then it was all a dream! Or was it...? Yeah, that was a pretty heavy dose of stupid right there.

34 Stunning Deaths: Where Does Game of Thrones Shocker Rank?

$

This is what the letters "OMG" were invented for.

Over the years, television has inundated viewers with one shocking death after another, with some shows specializing in stunning its fans (hello there, Game of Thrones!) and others ending the lives of main characters we thought would live forever (really, Grey's Anatomy?!?).

Which of these deaths is the most stunning? Which has left your jaw permanently affixed to the ground?

Click around and comment away now!

1. Dr. Derek Shepherd

Dr derek shepherd
With Patrick Dempsey wanting off Grey's Anatomy, his beloved character was blindsided by a semi toward the end of Season 11.

2. Jon Snow

Jon snow
Rest in peace, Jon Snow. It is definitely now official: no one is ever safe on Game of Thrones.

3. Vincent Nigel-Murray

Vincent nigel murray
The loveable, brilliant English squintern was constantly spouting off random bits of trivia to hide his insecurities. Everyone, especially the fans, were shocked when he was murdered by a sniper's bullet meant for Agent Booth. (His death also marked the night Bones magically got pregnant with Christine in a hookup fans never got to see.)

4. Will Gardner

Josh charles will gardner the good wife
We never would have guessed Will Gardner would have been killed off of The Good Wife especially after everything Will and Alicia have gone through. It's a death which is still shocking and continues to play a big part in who Alicia is becoming.

5. Rita Morgan

Rita
Rita Morgan on Dexter was shocking because Dexter was a serial killer. Dammit, his people were, oddly enough, supposed to be safe! Seeing her dead in the tub was graphic, but it was the gut punch to Dexter that really hit home. How they played with our emotions through a killer was truly stunning.

6. Moira Queen

Moira queen in arrow photo
The death of Arrow's Moira Queen was shocking in its brutality. Her stabbing death was a knife to our hearts.

What better way to celebrate Father's Day than by honoring some of the foxiest fathers on television? From crime fighting heroes to an actual prince, all of these dads are easy on the eyes.

No, they may not all win father of the year, but we love them anyway!

Check them out below!

1. Derek Shepherd (Grey's Anatomy)

Derek shepherd greys anatomy
We had to go there. Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey) a.k.a. McDreamy may be no longer, but we still can't forget him as one of the McDreamiest dads on television.

2. Lucious Lyon (Empire)

Lucious lyon empire
Nobody is giving Lucious Lyon the father of the year award, but there's no doubting his ability to create an empire and support his three sons in their singing careers. God knows he has a thing or two to learn about treating his sons right, but just look at the man. We can most certainly cut him some slack while we watch him trying.

3. Seeley Booth (Bones)

Seeley booth bones
We can't help but love David Boreanaz as Seeley Booth. Sure, he's sexy when we chases bad guys, but he really melts our hearts when he plays tea party with his daughter, or does a somersault when he learns he's going to have another child.

4. Prince Charming (Once Upon a Time)

Prince charming once upon a time
We can't possibly talk about dashing dads without including Prince Charming from Once Upon a Time, played by Josh Dallas. He's adorable, noble, and willing to fight for his family. He'll do whatever it takes to keep his daughter safe, even if that means sending her to an entirely different world.

5. Don Draper (Mad Men)

Don draper mad men
No, he's not winning a Father of the Year award any time soon, but Mad Men's Don Draper (Jon Hamm) definitely fits the bill of a hot dad. Even Sally's friends can't help but flirt with him.

6. Richard Castle (Castle)

Richard castle castle
There's no denying that the quirky and oh-so-handsome Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion) has a special relationship with Alexis. Some of our favorite moments are their father / daughter interactions.

Home wreckers have been around on TV for as long as drama series have.

They come in various different forms and they all have a common goal: they want to the attention of their victims all for themselves.

How do the stakes change when the family of their conquest is revealed? It doesn't. it just makes them even more irresistible to the home wrecker.

Have a look through the gallery we have compiled of some of the most memorable home wreckers on TV.

1. Rafael Solano - Jane The Virgin

Rafael solano jane the virgin
Rafael sprung into action to secure the love of Jane The Virgin, his baby mama. Yes, Jane was artificially inseminated and was engaged to some other guy. I think it's fair to say there was A LOT of back and forth.

2. Edie Britt - Desperate Housewives

Edie britt desperate housewives
Edie was the definition of Desperate Housewife. Every time a new guy moved into the neighborhood, Edie would embed her claws into him and pull him her way. Married? That doesn't faze her. Just look at poor Susan Meyer who had her husband stolen from her.

3. Lydia Davis - Revenge

Lydia davis revenge
Lydia Davis was an opportunist. I don't believe she had feelings for Conrad Grayson. She wanted to replace his wife Victoria Grayson and reign over the Hamptons and get into the Grayson Global gravy train.

4. Ben Crawford - Secrets & Lies

Ben crawford secrets and lies
Ben had a wonderful family, but it never stopped him from having some steamy encounters with his neighbor, Jess. Let's just say that as much as he would like his wife to believe, it happened more than once and it was HOT.

5. Joss - Mistresses

Joss mistresses
How would you feel if a sibling got down and dirty with your significant other? Yes, Joss went there and things got steamy, but Savi won't be anywhere near when the show returns. Her home is most certainly wrecked.

6. Olivia Pope - Scandal

Olivia pope scandal
Olivia Pope had many sordid encounters with the president of the USA. Fitz also happened to be married, so that was yet another home wrecked. These two have such a tumultous relationship that I wouldn't be surprised if they just quit.

11 Deliciously Dark Characters: What Are They Hiding?

$

Sexy characters with dark secrets are pretty much the norm on TV these days.

For every Emily Thorne, there is a Nancy Botwin.  Some of these characters are not necessarily evil, they just need to go beyond the law to get stuff done and we can't blame them.

Then there's the ones like Dexter Morgan, who are royally breaking the law, but feel like they are doing the public a service for ridding civilization of the vile people who inhabit it.

Yes, these secrets come in a variety of of different forms, but they really make for some first class television and the TV landscape wouldn't be the same without them.

Have a look through our picture gallery of these hotties with dark secrets.

1. Rose - Jane The Virgin

Rose jane the virgin
We knew Sin Rostro was one evil individual, but the reveal that Rafael's step-mother, who was sleeping with his father aswell as his sister was one of the most shocking of the season. Who'd have guessed this HOT redhead could be so cruel?

2. Emily Thorne/Amanda Clarke - Revenge

Emily thorne slash amanda clarke revenge
Her revenge plot may be over, but Amanda Clarke posed as Emily Thorne in the Hamptons for four seasons in order to make the Grayson's pay for the hell they put her family through. In the process she had MANY steamy encounters with people from the town.

3. Barbie - Under The Dome

Barbie under the dome
He may have been quick to get between Julia's sheets, but just before the dome came down, he killed her husband. I think this is one of the more twisted on the list.

4. Marisol - Devious Maids

Marisol devious maids
Marisol posed as a maid in order to find out the truth about a murder that found her son in the frame. She proved that she was good at her job and even made some life long friends. She now lives in a massive house and has published a novel. Who says maids can't go up in the world?

5. Liza - Younger

Liza younger
We can't deny that Sutton Foster looks HOT as her character Liza in TV Land's Younger. Her character is actually in her forties and is posing as a 26 year old in order to get a job and kickstart her life after her divorce.

6. Dan - Gossip Girl

Dan gossip girl
Who'd have guessed that after getting down and dirty with the high class socialites of The Upper East Side, that we'd find out it was Dan who was the elusive blogger? Not us. It didn't make much sense, but in the end, he got his Queen. Better late than never, right?

Superhero shows are hitting television left and right, which means one thing: sidekicks!

Our favorite TV heroes always need a good body man or computer whiz to back them up on their latest mission to save the world!

Don't rule out the werewolves or the zombies though, they've got some of the best backup ever, when it comes right down to it. And then there are those every day best friends, who stick with you through thick and thin!

Check out some of TV's sexiest sidekicks below and try your hardest not to drool. Some of them are just too pretty for words. But don't let looks deceive you! Some of these guys could probably break you in half without even trying.

1. Felicity Smoak (Arrow)

Felicity smoak arrow
No one can deny that when it comes to sidekicks, Felicity Smoak brings both brains and beauty. Give her a laptop and some wifi, and you just know you're taken care of. Oliver would tend to agree, since he puts his life in her hands practically every night of the week.

2. Stiles (Teen Wolf)

Stiles teen wolf
Are we ever going to learn Stiles' real name? No matter how unpronouncable, it would be nice to be on a first name basis with Scott's ever-faithful human sidekick. Stiles is always on hand with his quick wit and super sleuthing skills whenever Scott needs help with the latest supernatural disaster to befall Beacon Hills.

3. Donna Paulsen (Suits)

Donna paulsen suits
For 12 years, Donna served Harvey faithfully as his secretary, the best kind of sidekick there is for a top tier lawyer in New York City. Whether it's finding a button for an old suit, dodging unwanted appointments, or even impersonating a federal agent, Donna will do whatever it takes to help Harvey win.

4. Jorah Mormont (Game of Thrones)

Jorah mormont game of thrones
Has there ever been a more faithful or devoted servant in all the seven kingdoms? Okay, disregard that one time he was a spy. He's really, really sorry about it! Moving forward, let's hope that Jorah can redeem himself in Dany's eyes and take his rightful place as her trusted sidekick. No one else quite fills those shoes like he does.

5. Cisco Ramon (The Flash)

Cisco ramon the flash
Team Flash would be lost without brainy little Cisco, and the meta-humans of Central City would be completely nameless. You think it's easy to come up with winners like Captain Cold and the Bug-Eyed-Bandit? Think again! Cisco is the heart and soul of STAR Labs, and don't you forget it!

6. Bird Castro (Finding Carter)

Bird castro finding carter
While it hasn't always been smooth sailing between Bird and Carter, there really is no better friend than a girl always willing to lend a hand – or a spare dollar – in your time of need. Especially when Carter's times of need so often tend to tangle with law enforcement!

17 Powerful Scenes to Prepare Us for Fall TV

$

The 2014-2015 TV season had a crazy amount of powerful scenes. Sure, most of them were saved for the season finales, but they were needed.

Empire rose the ranks every week to post new highs, but it all came to a head when Cookie contemplated killing Lucious once and for all for everything he's put their family through.

We also lost a few shows which went out with crazy scenes in their final weeks on the air. Remember when Daniel died on Revenge, Emily declared that it wasn't all a lie? Yeah, that was sad, but he still had to go, right?

Have a look through our gallery and let us know what you think in the comments.

1. Game of Thrones - Cersei's Walk of Shame

Game of thrones cerseis walk of shame
Cersei Lannister isn't the nicest of people. In fact, she's probably one of the most treachorous in King's Landing, so it was about time she got a taste of her own medicine. We didn't expect it to be as harsh as it was. Walking through the streets naked and being humiliated by a woman screaming "Shame" at her, she walked back to the castle. But will it have changed her? Don't bet on it.

2. UnREAL - Britney's Meltdown

Unreal britneys meltdown
Back when UnREAL premiered, we had no clue how ruthless any of the characters would be. It led to poor Britney being a little too produced by Rachel and made her lose her mind on the set of Everlasting. You can only imagine our surprise when she was brought back the end of the season. No one can resist a wild card, right?

3. Bates Motel - Norman Continues His Descent Into Crazy Town

Bates motel norman continues his descent into crazy town
We all knew that it was about time that Norman dialed the crazy factor up to a 10. His obsession with his mother grew to dizzying new heights. He freaking sniffed her dress. WTF.

4. Revenge - Daniel Dies

Revenge daniel dies
Who would've guessed that Emily would be nice to Daniel in his final living moments? Not us. Daniel was a villain. There's no denying that, but Emily wasn't twisted enough to let him leave this world without some comfort. The scene would bring tears to the hardest of people.

5. HTGAWM - Rebecca Is Dead

Htgawm rebecca isnt missing shes dead
How to Get Away With Murder had a crazy good freshman run that made our heads spin with all the twists thrown our way. Just when we thought Rebecca's story was over, she popped back up and was totally kidnapped and then presumed missing. But then it was revealed that she was dead. Who did it? Is it September yet?

6. Empire - Cookie Almost Kills Lucious

Empire cookie almost kills lucious
Lucious Lyon really is one of the most twisted men on TV, so it wasn't all that surprising that someone would want to end his reign of terror once and for all. That person was his ex wife, Cookie, who did seventeen years to protect him. In the scene, she found out Lucious was the one who killed her cousin and decided to take matters into her own hands.

These memorable characters said goodbye, in one way or another, during recent TV seasons ... but they will never be forgotten.

In fact, we still can't believe they are gone ...

1. Troy Barnes

Troy as a victim
Donald Glover left Community to pursue his rapping career. He took his beloved character with him.

2. Dr. Derek Shepherd

Doctor derek shepherd photo
Dr. Derek Shepherd's death on Grey's Anatomy Season 11 was as brutal as it was unexpected and abrupt, a trifecta that left fans reeling like never before ... which is saying something on a show that leaves its fans reeling from tragedies like weekly.

3. Joss Carter

Detective carter
The death of Detective Joss Carter continues to rock Person of Interest fans. But that's the idea, isn't it?

4. Allison Argent

Allison aims
When Teen Wolf announced someone wouldn't make it to the end of Season 3, nobody imagined Allison would be taken. She died in the arms of Scott, her first love.

5. Chris Traeger

We are LITCHerally in disbelief. Chris Traeger has moved away from Pawnee, Indiana, taking his gal with him. No more Rob Lowe on Parks & Rec!

6. Ziva David

NCIS didn't kill Ziva off, thank goodness. But she was writen out because Cote de Pablo wanted a change.

19 Fictional Femme Fatales: Hot and Homicidal!

Truly the best kind of female character is the one who is gorgeous, sexy, smart... and could probably kill you with her pinky finger.

There are so many femme fatale characters on TV these days, it was hard to narrow it down to just 19! We combed through all of the best and the worst (and the craziest) kickass women on TV, and we finally came up with a list of girls that you would probably want to avoid if they weren't so amazing and alluring.

Check out 19 of TV's greatest femme fatales, and be sure to add any we missed in comments below!

1. Rebekah Mikaelson (The Originals)

Rebekah mikaelson the originals
Rebekah's wiles never seem to find her love, but they do come in handy whenever she needs to seduce whoever is unfortunate enough to become her next meal. Just don't get too handsy, or you'll end up on the floor like this guy.

2. Katherine Pierce (The Vampire Diaries)

Katherine pierce the vampire diaries
If you've never seen Katherine Pierce in action, then boy, are you missing out. She's a vampire with a vendetta, and most of the time, she's about ten steps ahead of you in the plotting and mayhem process. Watch out for that sexy smile, it comes with fangs!

3. Nikita (Nikita)

Nikita nikita
Being trained by a super secret government organization as an assassin and a seductress pretty much gives Nikita the edge in Femme Fatale category. Lucky for you, she's got a heart of gold – most of the time.

4. Sydney Bristow (Alias)

Sydney bristow alias
If you don't think Sydney Bristow is one of the sexiest women in the world, I urge you to take a look at this gif and reconsider. Then, know that about 10 seconds after putting on this sexy show, she strangles the misogynistic pig in front of her and complains about about the uncomfortable nature of lingerie.

5. Sara Lance (Arrow)

Sara lance arrow
Another assassin, trained by considerably scarier people than the government. Sara's famous line, "No woman should ever suffer at the hands of men," pretty much wraps up exactly why she's on this list. And, of course, her ability to seduce and kick butt in the same scene.

6. Anne Boleyn (The Tudors)

Anne boleyn
Perhaps the greatest femme fatale of all time, Anne Boleyn seduced her way into King Henry's bed and managed to get a crown in the process! We're not saying she poisoned his first wife or anything... but she definitely thought about it.

17 Characters Who Should Have Stayed Dead

There's a whole grieving process when a much-loved character is killed off in your favorite show.

You get so attached to characters that when it's time for them to go, you want them to stay on the show forever.

It's difficult enough to say goodbye to characters, but when they're brought back into the land of the living in a convoluted way, you'd much prefer if they stayed dead.

Why mess with the integrity of the show?

We've compiled a list of characters who should have stayed dead.

1. Peter - Teen Wolf

Peter hale teen wolf
Peter wasn’t a good character to begin with. He was just too evil to like, so his random return and the fact that we were being forced to like him, was just plain stupid. He should never have returned.

2. Alison - Pretty Little Liars

Alison dilaurentis pretty little liars
Pretty Little Liars was way more interesting when we all thought Alison was dead. I have no problem with Sasha Pieterse, but she was way better in flashback, being a bitch to her friends. This whole storyline with her as a teacher is so random and stupid.

3. Tony - 24

Tony almeida 24
24 was never a show that was scared to kill off regular characters, but when Season 7 came around, the presumed dead Tony Almeida showed up and it kind of ruined the whole idea of death in the show.

4. Madison - American Horror Story: Coven

Madison montgomery american horror story coven
Emma Roberts can effortlessly play a bitch and it totally sucked when she was killed off in Coven. It was annoying that just as we finished grieving her loss, she was back in the land of the living.

5. Rumple - Once Upon A Time

Rumple once upon a time
Rumple has been a villain for so long that he is no longer redeemable and I could care less about him. Pan killed him at the close of Season 3A, but he didn't stay dead. Yawn. Add in that it’s paved the way for him to become the dark one once more and you have the most pointless return.

6. Mama Pope - Scandal

Mama pope scandal
Scandal has been known to keep viewers on the edge of their seat, but the twist that Mama Pope was alive and the subsequent convoluted storylines left a lot to be desired. It all started with her. She was the reason the show started to go stale.

15 Wedding Gowns We’ll Never Forget

As TV fans we love a nothing more than a good wedding episode. They bring romance and drama…and if we’re very lucky, an amazing dress!

Whether it’s traditional or contemporary, elegant or quirky, lace or newspaper (yes, we said newspaper!), the wedding attire says a a lot about the bride.

Some of these ceremonies ended with a couple experiencing wedded bliss while other couples never made it down the aisle but they all have one thing in common…a wedding dress we'll always remember.

Check out our 15 Wedding Gowns We’ll Never Forget.

1. Kate Beckett - Castle

The wet wedding gown castle s7e1
Kate has been dressed in three different wedding outfits on Castle. First it was the silver beaded gown with the puffy tulle skirt that somehow even made her hips look big, The last was the pant suit that she wore when she actually married Rick, but our favorite was the dress for the wedding that wasn't. The dress, designed by Alberta Ferretti, was supposed to be Kate's mother, Johanna Beckett's dress, so it held special meaning to fans. Why "The Powers That Be" on Castle would choose to drench the $12,000 gown and not have our heroine get married in it is a mystery we may never solve.

2. Claire Randall - Outlander

Claire randall outlander
The wedding was about marriage, not romance but that doesn't mean they skimped on the gown! No one wore white for their wedding in 18th century Scotland, so Claire's dress is metallic silver. There are literally bands of metal woven into the embroidery. We'd say that show costume designer Terry Dresbach out did herself.

3. Leslie Knope - Parks and Recreation

Leslie knope parks and recreation
Leslie Knope's wedding gown wasn't ready in time for her surprise wedding to Ben. (What kind of a seamstress doesn't finish the dress months ahead of schedule, just because?!) Luckily, quick thinking sunfish Ann Perkins came to the rescue with just the right idea: she used newspaper clippings that highlighted Leslie's political career to create an awesome one-of-a-kind wedding gown for a one-of-a-kind woman!

4. Dr. Temperance Brennan - Bones

Giving of rings
When Booth and Brennan finally tied the knot, they did it right! Bones wore a gown made of re-embroidered lace from Legends by Romona Keveza. It's from the designer's Spring 2013 collection and featured an off-the-shoulder neckline, flowing circle skirt, and chapel-length train made of French net. The bride and the gown were truly gorgeous.

5. Emily Thorne - Revenge

Emily thorne revenge
Yes, the wedding may have been a part of her plot for revenge but no one can say that Emily Thorne didn't make a beautiful bride... in no small part because her wedding gown was spectacular. Although the dress looked as though it came straight from a high-end boutique, the tulle peplum gown with scalloped lace was created by the show’s costume designer, Jill Ohannesson.

6. Blair Waldorf - Gossip Girl

Blair waldorf wedding dress reloaded
Having been married before, Blair Waldorf chose not to wear traditional white but no one can say she didn’t look absolutely stunning. When Chuck and Blair finally got married, she chose an incredible blue custom Elie Saab dress and gem-encrusted headband.

11 Badass Ladies Who Deserve More Than They Got

$

There are some TV characters who have gone through hell and back. Some of those have literally. (Sara Lance, anyone?)

Even after so much development has been done and the characters grow so much, unknown forces prevent those characters from ever achieving the results they could.

Some achieve their greatness, but don't live the life they deserve after. They lost so much in the battle.

These characters spend so much time working through a problem, or tragedy, only to be pushed to the sideline, or the character lived such a terrible life that they were never able to recover and live a happier life.

We've compiled a gallery of badass TV ladies that deserved better lives than they were granted.

1. Spencer Hastings - Pretty Little Liars

Youre doing what pretty little liars s6e12
Spencer Hastings (Troian Bellisario) has always endured the hardest torment from the liars' infamous stalkers. She's been framed and accused of murder, multiple times, drove crazy and locked away in an institution and her life has been hectic, regardless. Her family has always treated her as the pariah: never approving of her choices, not approving of her first best friend, Alison, and comparing all of her achievements to her sister's. Five years later and Spencer still gets the short end of the stick. Her current boyfriend, Caleb, cheated on her with his ex, and her best friend, Hanna. While this -A has left her alone, Mona and Charlotte attacked her with everything they had, seeing her as the only real competition of the four liars.

2. Amanda Clarke/Emily Thorne - Revenge

Help please revenge s4e22
Amanda Clarke (Emily VanCamp), also known as Emily Thorne, had her childhood ruined by the Graysons. Her father framed for terrorism and she was left to rot in the foster care system. Years later, she did what she had to do: she plotted and enacted her revenge against the people who framed her father. She lost many people during the years: Fauxmanda, the person whom she called her sister, Daniel Grayson, the man she used as part of her plan but developed real feelings for, and Aiden Mathis, the only person who understood her revenge. In a strange plot twist, her father returned, alive and free, but his return was shadowed by Aiden's death. After Amanda partially got her revenge, Victoria fought back, leading to an epic showdown, where Victoria was killed. Soon after, her father died of cancer. She lost so many people, as did the people she loved and trusted, but her father's death was cruel. She was without him her whole life and hardly a year after he returned, he was dead, again.

3. Emma Becker - The Lying Game

The lying game premiere pic
Emma Becker (Alexandra Chando) fought so hard to have a family. After growing up in foster care, she was reunited with her twin sister, Sutton (Chando), who was adopted by a wealthy family. After Sutton convinces her to pretend to be her for a few days, Emma is sucked into a life of lies. Through that she grows close to Sutton's boyfriend, Ethan, who becomes her boyfriend, but still has feelings for Sutton. The Lying Game was cancelled too soon after too much murder before we saw Emma get the family she deserved: the family she always craved.

4. Nikita Mears - Nikita

Maggie q for nikita
Another show cancelled too soon, Nikita Mears (Maggie Q) was perhaps the worst off of all characters. Recruited by a secret government agency and forced to kill, Nikita escaped and vowed to take down Division. She fought with Alex, who later turned on her for a short time, and took down Percy, the man who ran Division. Forced by the government again to take over Division, they began to hunt agents who did not come in after an order by the President. But Amanda, another head of Division, and her grudge against Nikita remained, leading to the President being assassinated and Nikita being framed. The show had to wrap up its mission in six episodes, where Nikita took to drastic measures to clear her name, only to lose more and more loved ones along the way. In the end, her and Michael, her boyfriend, were able to settle down, but they couldn't. Who could sit on a beach, anyways?

5. Daisy "Skye" Johnson - Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Daisy what do you see agents of shield s3e2
Daisy (Chloe Bennet) is another foster child, who only wanted a family. She spent her whole life searching, becoming a skilled computer hacker to find more information on the birth parents she never knew. Once recruited by S.H.I.E.L.D., Daisy's objective was to use their resources to discover her lineage, going off one redacted file, only in the process to gain inhuman abilities. Her mother, the leader of an Inhuman group, plotted to use their powers for evil, prompting Daisy's father to kill her mother, as she tried to kill Daisy. She found her family and lost her family within weeks. All she has left to remember them by is her abilities.

6. Sara Lance - DC's Legends of Tomorrow

Eye catching dcs legends of tomorrow s1e8
Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) had a miserable time on Arrow. After being stranded on Lian Yu with Oliver Queen, Sara was forced to join the League of Assassins to survive. 5 years later and her return to Starling City is hardly welcomed by her older sister, Laurel, Oliver's girlfriend that Sara was sleeping with when the Queen's Gambit went down. Before they can completely reconnect, Sara goes back to the League after they helped stop Slade from destroying the city, and in a moment, she was dead. Malcolm Merlyn brainwashed his daughter to murder Sara to set Oliver down a path with the League. She was murdered as nothing but a plot device for both Oliver and Laurel, as she started her journey as the Black Canary. Once resurrected, Sara lost her soul, her body a feral creature. Now, soul returned, on DC's Legends of Tomorrow, she is searching for a purpose and redemption, still dealing with the aftermath of her death.

17 Controversial Character Exits That Left Us Asking WHY?!?

TV is a big revolving door of characters coming and going.

If we watch a show for any length of time, we expect a fitting conclusion for a character.

What we don't expect is for the character to leave in a way that's so far out of character, that you still hold a grudge about it years later.

Not all of these characters left the show in a coffin. Some of them left their show and took what was left of the show with them.

We've compiled a gallery of 17 of the most controversial exits for you below!

1. Abbie - Sleepy Hollow

Abbie sleepy hollow
This one pretty much came out of nowhere. Abbie was brutally killed off in the first half of the third season, but she came back. Then the season finale rolled around and she was gone for good with the actress departing the show. It was anti-climactic primarily because she was killed off earlier in the season.

2. Laurel - Arrow

Laurel arrow
Laurel was taken very recently and it was the most horrible thing to watch. The character had been sidelined all season, so it was obvious the writers couldn't think of anything for her to do, so they killed her off in order to kick start the pace of the show. Instead, all they've done is piss off fans worldwide and catered to the minority that ships Olicity.

3. Stephen - Scandal

Stephen scandal
Remember when Henry Ian Cusick ditched Scandal after the freshman run with terrible resolution? Yeah, we're still not over this one. It would be great if he somehow returned, but that's unlikely considering he's over on The CW's The 100.

4. Rebekah - The Originals

Rebekah the originals
Rebekah keeps popping back up sporadically, but it's only a fan service. The last time she appeared she was staked and put away to keep her safe, but it's kind of annoying knowing that if she comes back, she'll only be around for an episode or two. It's time to wrap her storyline up for good unless she comes back permanently.

5. Lexa - The 100

Lexa the 100
This one was outrageous. She was such a badass character and all the writers could come up with was that she was killed by a stray bullet. That's not how to say goodbye to one of the best characters in your show!

6. Ethan - 90210

Ethan 90210
How do you revamp a show that's lacking? Cut one of the best characters! Yeah, that was a very odd decision by the powers that be in favor of trying to make us love Liam. Plot twist: It didn't work.

21 Shows with Serious Girl Power

$

Now these are squad goals.

Through everything, these girls stick together and realize their relationship with each other is more important than some guy with top ramen hair that would probably smell like a lake of mixed colognes if he were real.

Some of them even save the others' lives, repeatedly, and have such a true sense of trust that their exceed the limitation of friendship and become sisters, or are actually sisters to begin with.

There's one thing we can count on for sure: they stick together. If they're friends. Otherwise, you can be sure they will try their best to ruin lives.

Like Emily Thorne, for instance. Her and Victoria were far from friends, but they are two of the strongest women on television.

Below are 21 of our favorite girl power TV shows.

1. Pretty Little Liars

Pretty little liars
Pretty Little Liars follows Hanna, Aria, Spencer, and Emily through their unbelievable and relentless torment and torture at the hands (or texts) of their infamous villain: A. A has been revealed numerous times, yet always comes back stronger, with more power and a rapidly quenched thirst for their blood. They've stuck together through the worst of times, along with the friend Alison and frenemy Mona, and save each others' lives countless times.

2. Orange is the New Black

Orange is the new black
Everyone's heard about Orange is the New Black. When Piper Chapman is sentenced to 15 months in prison, she's acquianted with a crowd of interesting, fiesty, fierce, and sometimes destructive women that can only rely on each other in confines of the messed up justice system. Each has their own story, their own crime, and their own methods of dealing with prison life, but they come together (never all together, somebody might die) and have become friends.

3. Scream Queens

Scream queens
What we do without the Chanels? Chanel, Chanel #3, and Chanel #5, are one of the tightest knit group of friends on television. They accuse each other of murder, then help cover it up to protect them, and save their lives. Even though they're all bitches, let's be honest, here's hoping they find a way to take crazy Hester back to the nuthouse in Scream Queens Season 2 this Fall.

4. Mistresses

Mistresses
Mistresses follows Joss, Karen, April, and formerly Savi, as they live drama-filled, sometimes disasterous lives in Los Angeles. Karen follows her heart into the most scandalous places, including a relationship with her patient and an intense polyamorous relationship in Season 3, while Joss is the free spirit who strikes up a relationship with her sister Savi's ex-husband, which is why Savi left the show. April is a mom, who is just finding her passion after putting it on hold to raise her daughter, and deals with a husband's betrayal. These girls stick together through the most scandalous times and will risk nothing to save the ones they love.

5. Rizzoli & Isles

Rizzoli and isles
Rizzoli and Isles, the perfect crime-solving team. Jane Rizzoli and Maura Isles found a friendship in their dark line of work: Jane as a homocide detective and Maura as the coroner. With Rizzoli's street smarts and Isles' book smarts, they've helped each other grow and are unstoppable.

6. Girls

Girls
Created by and starring Lena Dunham, Girls follows four girls (Hannah, Marnie, Jessa, and Shoshanna) through their lives of ups and downs in New York City. They can count on each other in the hardest times as they attempt to figure out who they are and what they want from life, while dealing with hectic love lives.

TV shows are known for having a lot of drama.

There's times when the drama gets a little too much for some characters and they lash out.

It's their way of venting their frustration.

We've compiled some of the best slaps on television.

1. Momma Vanderwaal Slaps Alison - Pretty Little Liars

Miss vanderwaal slaps alison pretty little liars
Remember when everyone thought Mona was dead and that Ali killed her? It was only a matter of time before someone slapped Alison, but I kind of felt sorry for her.

2. Victoria Lays Down The Law - Revenge

Victoria lays down the law revenge
Revenge was known for showing the glitz and glamour of The Hamptons, but it was also great at showing just how much Victoria Grayson loved to make everyone listen to her every word.

3. Tyrion Slaps Joffrey - Game of Thrones

Tyrion slaps joffrey game of thrones
Joffrey was always a wicked person, so viewers worldwide LOVED when his uncle Tyrion gave him a good old Westeros slap.

4. Sutton Slaps Emma - The Lying Game

Sutton slaps emma the lying game
Remember The Lying Game? It was better then Pretty Little Liars, but got cut short in Season 2. Sutton was not impressed with Emma stepping into her life for too long.

5. Santana Slaps Finn - Glee

Santana slaps finn glee
Santana and Finn made a cute couple, but Santana was not someone to be messed with.

6. Elena Slaps Stefan - The Vampire Diaries

Elena slaps stefan the vampire diaries
Elena loves slapping the Salvatore brothers. Stefan may not have been in the right frame of mind, but Elena seemed to think the back of her hand would knock some sense into him.

Some of our favorite TV families are the ones we'd never want to be a part of.

And some of them? Some of them are downright dangerous.

From organized crime families to those who just like to break the law, here are 13 of the coolest criminal families on TV!

1. The Popes (Scandal)

Rowan pope responds scandal season 4 episode 5
Papa Pope is one of the worst villains around, believing himself to be above the law and killing without mercy. His daughter fights against him, but Olivia is sometimes more like her father than she wants to believe.

2. The Graysons (Revenge)

The happy graysons
Talk about a twisted family. The Graysons will do just about anything to keep up appearances, even if it means breaking the law or turning on one another.

3. The Thompsons (Boardwalk Empire)

Business in cuba boardwalk empire
The Thompsons are definitely one of the coolest criminal families. Nucky Thompson appears to be a respectable political figure, but he spends the rest of his time bootlegging alcohol in this prohibition-era drama set in Atlantic City.

4. The Shelby Family (Peaky Blinders)

The shelby family peaky blinders
The Shelbys run an illegal gambling ring in post-war England, and they know how to work together to get a job done. They're clever, fearless, and very, very cool.

5. The Botwins (Weeds)

Weeds finale scene
Is there really any family cooler (and more dysfunctional) than the Botwin family? Led by Nancy Botwin, they make their living selling weed, getting into plenty of trouble along the way.

6. The Codys (Animal Kingdom)

Animal kingdom family
The Cody's are a twisted family led by matriarch "Smurf." They do their work by the beach, and they stick together even when they're ready to tear each other apart. But whatever you do, don't lie to Smurf. Just don't.

11 Shows That Would Have Worked Better On Cable

$

There are some TV shows that are wasted on broadcast TV.

Broadcast television is notorious for having more episodes of shows, therefore it results in a more diluted experience.

With people waiting longer for reveals, they lose interest.

There's also the fact that some shows on broadcast just can't go as graphic as they want to and it sucks.

We've compiled a list of 11 shows that would have been better suited to cable.

1. Revenge

Revenge
ABC's sudsy drama struggled to fill full seasons. It would have benefited from a much more concise story by moving over to a cable network like TNT and having a limit of 10 episodes per season. It could have served as a solid companion for Dallas and would probably have resulted in both shows still being on the air today. They also could have went more dark with the psychological elements of Amanda's character. A few swear words from Madelaine Stowe's Victoria Grayson would have fit the bill.

2. Hannibal

Hannibal
NBC's Hannibal really wouldn't need many creative changes. The reason it failed on broadcast was that it was a show built for a niche audience. The subject matter was always something that should have been on cable and had it started there, it would probably thriving on right now.

3. Quantico

Quantico
Quantico tried too hard to be like other ABC hits. It so desperately wanted to be part of TGIT, but ABC left it to heat up their Sunday night schedule. It was originally envisioned as a 13 part limited series, with the option of continuing for further seasons. Had it been on the likes of USA network, the pointless relationship drama would have been trimmed out and made the series infinitely more intriguing. Who really cares about who the recruits are sleeping with?

4. The 100

The 100
Producers of The 100 confirmed that they had to make The 100 fit in with The CW brand and that meant throwing in contrived relationship plots. There was a time when people associated The CW with teen dramas, but now it's becoming the superhero network. The 100 is a rare gem that is unlike anything else on television. It could thrive on like the likes of Syfy for several more years and the show could be paired with shows that actually fit into the genre.

5. Containment

Containment
The CW's Containment just seemed so off brand for the network. It was only picked up to keep Julie Plec happy, but could you imagine if it went to Showtime? It would have had a much better cast, darker plot and the chance of continuing on for another few years. I'm not saying all of the cast were bad. A select few were fantastic, but they just didn't do the show much justice. It probably didn't help that the show was super expensive.

6. Reign

Reign
Reign is just all over the place on The CW. The White Queen looked visually stunning on Starz. Would it have killed The CW to throw some money Mary Queen Of Scot's way? I'm pretty sure I witnessed someone wearing a hoodie on Reign. The show just comes across as cheap. No wonder the leads are dropping like flies.

1. Abaddon (Supernatural)

Abaddon supernatural
This fiery redhead is practically the devil incarnate. Okay, technically she's just a demon, but she's given those Winchester boys just as much trouble as Lucifer ever did! The worst part? You can't even exorcise her when she gets particularly nasty.

4. Nikita (Nikita)

Nikita nikita
Being trained by a super secret government organization as an assassin and a seductress pretty much gives Nikita the edge in Femme Fatale category. Lucky for you, she's got a heart of gold – most of the time.
